I know it's not technically summer anymore, but with all the insanity at work, it's been really difficult to find time to tinker on the motion project I started a couple months ago. Anyway-- here's some test footage I put together this weekend.
The helicopter gets a little too wobbly at the end, and the transitions are temporary, but I'm starting to like where it's headed.
Below are a few After Effects pieces I put together for our new website at work, which is scheduled to launch this week.
Here's a little sneek preview of some footage I'm putting together for a motion experiment and/or demo reel. Needs some fine tuning, but I'm pretty proud of it so far.
Shown above is a graphic element from a recent Flash animation I created for Indie 103.1 in Los Angeles. The station's street-team./VIP club is called "Indie Activists", so I decided to go with a bolshevik revolutionary theme, which is always really fun to work with. I had a good time makin' this one.
This weekend I decided to start working on a motion-graphics/special effects piece to get some practice in After Effects, and to build up material for my motion demo reel. I honestly haven't figured out exactly where I'm going to go with the idea yet, but I have a couple weird, semi-narrative concepts in mind... if I can stay disciplined and set aside enough time, I think it'll turn out cool.
